Landed Cost Calculator

Disclaimer

Landed Cost Calculator gives you estimates only. It is not customs advice, tax advice, or legal advice, and using it does not create any professional relationship between you and us.

Why these are estimates

Import duty and tax outcomes hinge on the exact HS tariff classification of your goods — and classification is genuinely hard. A few digits' difference in the HS code can change the duty rate, trigger a different concession, or pull a shipment into an anti-dumping or quarantine regime entirely. The calculator works from the rate and classification you enter, so its accuracy is only ever as good as that input.

Rates, thresholds, exchange rates, and the rules themselves also change — sometimes at short notice and sometimes retrospectively. De minimis levels, processing charges, GST treatment of freight and insurance, and free-trade-agreement eligibility are all moving targets. A figure that was correct last quarter may not be correct today.

Before you rely on a number

Treat every result here as a starting point for your own homework, not a final landed cost. Confirm duty, GST, and any other charges with the official customs authority for your destination — in Australia, the Australian Border Force (ABF) and the ATO — or with a licensed customs broker before you commit to a purchase, a price, or a shipment.
